So, screw the people who already were booked I guess. While that is lovely for the staff, what is NOT lovely is we are now 6 months out with no place for our reception. As it turns out, the owners were celebrating their 20th anniversary and were surprising the staff with a cruise. I then had to call her to find out what was going on and she told me they were cancelling our reception.
I waited two days and never heard from Joan at Blue Heaven. Joan, one of the event planners at Blue Heaven, said she would know more that afternoon and call me back. We are ordering our invitations and so I had called to confirm our menu options, where I was then informed they may be CLOSED that day and may have to cancel. IMy fiancee and I are having a 50 person wedding in Key West and had our reception booked at Blue Heaven months ago.
